In the News
From 5 August 2020, employers of apprentices will receive up to $16,000 for each new apprentice. This Government funding is designed to assist businesses to take on new and retain existing first and second-year apprentices.
The subsidy runs for 20 months:
$1,000 per month for the first 12 months, then
$500 per month for the next 8 months

Free Fees Apprenticeships
From 1 July 2020 until the end of 2022, the Government is covering training fees for new and existing apprentices. This means no fees for learners or employers. Find out more HERE
- From 1 January 2018, the first 2 years of industry training is fees-free for eligible learners enrolling in eligible programmes—which include plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying apprenticeships.
