What will Masterlink do for me?

• Discuss with you the person to best suit your business
• Put applicants through a thorough selection process, to identify the best candidate, and someone to meet your specific needs and company culture

What does Masterlink do?

• Masterlink will employ the successful candidate and place them on secondment in your business
• Coordinators will supervise and mentor apprentices at all stages of the four-year apprenticeship, including regular performance appraisals with hosts and apprentices
• Manage all the block courses, and continue paying apprentices while on courses, on annual leave and sick leave. This could amount to 10 weeks a year
• Manage all the normal administration activities associated with employing staff - wages, all HR requirements, PAYE, ACC etc

What do I have to do?

• Provide on-the-job training for your apprentices, allowing them to work with skilled tradesmen who are willing to share their knowledge
• Give apprentices the opportunity to gain experience in as many different types of work as possible
• Work with the coordinators to make sure your apprentices are in a positive learning environment
• Release them to attend block courses
• You will be charged by Masterlink for the hours the apprentice works for you - normally a minimum of 40 hours a week. You will not be charged for any block courses or holidays taken by the apprentice.
